One of the city’s most attended local markets, the Trinity Bellwoods Flea returned to Toronto with its first summer event this Sunday—after being held put on pause for a few months because of the pandemic.
The monthly curated shopping event celebrates and supports Toronto’s local artisans, designers and food vendors.
The participating vendors at “Line up for Local Market” range from visual artists and jewelry designers to juicers and pet supplies brands.
“It gives you a way to get your brand known,” said Priya Mohan, one of the local designers. She said the market offers local business owners the chance to showcase their products, especially for those who can’t afford to have a shop.
The flea market took place at Design Republic in the heart of Queen St West. COVID-19 safety measures are enforced including mandatory masks, limited capacity and a limited number of vendors.
