Ontario Premier Doug Ford focused on the importance of supporting Ontario businesses and manufacturers in his Friday afternoon address.
Ford announced the “Ontario Made Program,” supported by Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME). He says this program will help Ontarians use purchasing power to support homegrown manufacturers and businesses. The program will include putting an “Ontario Made” logo on locally made products, and there will also be a website launched to provide individuals with more information on how to support local.
The Premier hosted the address in Woodbridge at a family-owned Skylight manufacturer, Artistic Skylight. He plans on visiting more local businesses throughout Ontario today.
More to come.
